Visual inspection through top loader shows some upper right corner softness and minor edge chipping. Typical centering for the 1991 Stadium Club set. Scratches appear to be on the plastic holder rather than the card surface.
Grading Recommendation
Not recommended for grading unless the card is absolutely flawless (potential PSA 10). The cost of grading ($19-25) exceeds the value of a raw or mid-grade copy. Excellent for personal collection but not for profit unless mint.
Card Description
Nolan Ryan shown in his Houston Astros uniform during his iconic high-leg kick delivery. He is wearing the classic 'tequila sunrise' era rainbow knit shoulder jersey. The design is full-bleed photography, a staple of the premium Stadium Club brand released in 1991.
Notable Features
Features the 'Stadium Club' logo in the upper right. Note that while Ryan is shown as an Astro, he was a member of the Texas Rangers when this card was released (a 'flashback' style photo choice common to the set).
Authentication Notes
Genuine 1991 Stadium Club stock. The glossy finish and color saturation are consistent with Topps production from that year. No immediate signs of counterfeiting as this is a mass-produced 'Junk Wax' era card.
